This large-scale project involves the construction of a six-lane expressway with multi-level interchanges, which will eliminate traffic lights and ensure traffic flow continuity. The total span of all facilities will exceed 5 km.
The fourth bridge will connect the Yuzhnaya Square with the Truda Square, and will run parallel to the existing railway crossing. The bridge will provide access to the Baikal, Chuysky Trakt and Siberia federal highways.
In addition to the bridge itself, large-scale construction will be deployed on both sides of the Ob River. The project provides for the creation of elevated pedestrian crossings and several viaducts over the city tram lines and Trans-Siberian Railway lines.
The new road is designed to minimize the number of intersections with existing and projected oil and gas pipelines, as well as power lines and inter-field roads. The new highway does not affect the existing road and its temporary closure is not required.
